Newsom windfall tax = CA’s latest self-inflicted policy wound
The U.S. refining and petrochemical industries are among the most competitive in the world, due to a competitive tax code, abundance of natural resources and trade policies that facilitate market access. AFPM advocates for tax policies that enhance the global competitiveness of the U.S. refining and petrochemical industries. We also support trade policies that enable market access for U.S. refiners and petrochemical manufacturers operating both at home and abroad. This includes agreements securing essential rights and protections, which ultimately benefit American consumers and our economy.
