Qualifications: Human resource specialists are results-oriented, collaborative and interested in learning. They are comfortable with ambiguity and change as well as open to new experiences, including potential assignment to new locations.
Education: Most employers require a high school diploma or equivalent and a 2-year or 4-year degree in human resource management, business, labor relations or related field. A certificate from the Human Resource Certification Institute can be obtained to demonstrate qualifications and skills.
