American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) is the leading trade association representing the makers of the fuels that keep Americans moving and the petrochemicals that are the essential building blocks for modern life.

We make the fuels that power the trucks, planes and vans that get millions of people to work and to school each day and enable next-day delivery. We make the petrochemicals that go into literally thousands of products likes plastics, computers and medical equipment.

Three-and-a-half million jobs in all 50 states are supported by 135 refineries and over 320 petrochemical facilities. Together, these industries add billions of dollars to the U.S. economy each year.
