Passage of the bipartisan Save Our Seas Act is an important step in addressing mismanaged plastic waste. The legislation galvanizes innovation and enables greater collaboration between industry, government and other stakeholders to keep waste out of waterways and drive recycling efforts that recapture the value of used plastic products. We applaud Congress for championing this initiative, and remain committed to collaborating with policymakers and other stakeholders to develop sound plastic waste policies going forward.
