AFPM Commends Passage of Senate Tax Reform Legislation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) statement on passage of The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in the U.S. Senate today:

“Today’s vote in the Senate is a critical step in advancing tax reform that will make U.S. manufacturing more competitive. We are encouraged that both the House and Senate agree that reducing the corporate tax rate is vital to modernizing the tax code, and urge Congress to quickly finalize legislation for the President to sign into law.”

Often, earnings are spent on a combination of the following: direct dividends, stock buy back programs, paying down debt and capital investment projects.
