WASHINGTON, D.C. – Statement from Chet Thompson, President and CEO of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) in response to a letter sent by nine Senators to President Trump about the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program.
“We applaud the Senators for voicing concerns with the RFS and their commitment to a strong domestic refining industry. The adverse impacts of these mandates on American families and workers have been clear for too long. We welcome an open and constructive dialogue about the best way to promote competition among fuels for the betterment of all Americans.”
